I attend St. Michaels Episcopal Church where I am in the second year of a three year term on the governing body. I also have been the Altar Guild Directress for over ten years.
Some of my accomplishments and other community activities are:
Mayor Chip Holloway's appointee to the Solid Waste Ad Hoc Committee in 2005
Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Corporate Board since 1995
President of Ridgecrest Republican Women Federated in 2003 and 2004
Chosen as the Woman of the Year of the China Lake Council of Beta Sigma Fi in 1989
Chosen as Woman of the Year for the 18th Senatorial District by Senator Roy Ashburn in 2005
Awarded the "From the Heart" Award by the United Way of Kern County in 2001

Men and women of America have always fought for the right to live in a free country beginning with the Revolutionary War right up through today in Iraq, Afghanistan and many other parts of the world.
The best way for us to support these efforts and sacrifices is to be an informed voter to assure this right continues. I request that you become informed and vote your conscience on November 7, 2006. I also respectfully request your vote and allow me the chance to represent you on the Ridgecrest City Council.
I am not the most educated or talented person that has ever requested your support for a seat on the Ridgecrest City Council. I do bring a life time of "good common sense, honesty and integrity".
